OU Campus Training

What is OU Campus?

OU Campus is the Content Management System (CMS) that we use to create and maintain public-facing websites on www.uvu.edu. OU Campus allows us to create department websites, add pages to those sites, add images, link to documents, design our pages, and add functionality to our websites.

OU Campus is a powerful tool that is easy to use for web development novices, and also provides flexbility for those who are more comfortable in the world of code.

OU Campus Training Sessions

When a new content contributor is given an assignment for maintaining their department website, it is important that they become familiar with OU Campus. The first step in getting to know OU Campus is attending a training session.

Training sessions in the basics of OU Campus are generally offered twice a month, with occasional supplementary meetings intended to cover more in-depth topics and features.

Training sessions usually take between thirty minutes to an hour, and provide a walk-through showing how to log in, create new pages, edit pages, format content, add links, add images, and publish pages.
