Our staff is required to be 18 or older and must pass a background check. They are all trained in CPR, First Aid, and have obtained a Food Handler’s Permit. Most of our staff has had previous experience in child care or are in the process of getting their degree here at UVU in Early Education.

Staff is also required to have 30 hours of training their first year, 20 hours per year thereafter and is encouraged to participate in the career ladder through Child Care Resource and Referral.
