Our center food service will comply with the Utah Department of Health Food Service Sanitation Regulations, R392-100, and with local health department food service regulations.
Children have meals and snacks at least once every two hours according to the following schedule:

Food and drink brought from home for an individual child must be clearly labeled with the child’s full name and be refrigerated, if needed.
Food or treats brought in for all the children for parties or other special occasions must be commercially prepared. Parents or caregivers cannot bring in homemade food or treats to the center to share with other children.
All staff who handles food and or snacks will have a food handler’s permit.
All staff handling bottles or baby food will also be required to have a food handler’s permit.
Food preparation will never be done at a sink that is used for hand washing. We have separate sinks available that are marked "Food Only" or "Hand washing Only" in the center.
The Coordinator will post a list of children’s food allergies and sensitivities in the kitchen and each of the classrooms. The coordinator is responsible for updating the list to be sure it is current and complete.
