HealthQuest- Wellness Coaching

What is HealthQuest?

A comprehensive personalized healthy lifestyle behavior change program.  Participanta will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Wellness Coach on a weekly basis.  All materials that have been compiled are from professional and accredited resources.

Who can participate in HealthQuest?

HealthQuest is available to all UVU students and employees.

How much does the program cost?

HealthQuest is $25 for students & employees, or $5 per session topic.

How long is the program?

  • 10 weeks for the entire program OR participants can choose to complete only specific sessions.
  • Each session lasts approximately 30-60 minutes.
  • Participants will meet with a Wellness Coach on a weekly basis at a time that works best for them.

What does this program include?

HealthQuest includes one-on-one or small group counseling sessions with a Wellness Coach. Participants will also receive information on the following topics:
  • Weight management
  • Exercise
  • Nutrition
  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Stress management
  • Sleep management

In addition, the participant will have the option to receive a full Health Risk Appraisal at the end of the program to assess their overall health.

A Health Risk Appraisal is an evaluation that consists of a lifestyle questionnaire and optional fitness tests that include: blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, body composition (includes height, weight, BMI and body fat%), sit ups, push ups, lung function test, flexibility, ht/wt, and a cardio step test.
