Scholarship Opportunities

UVU Career and Technical Education programs are connected with a number of scholarship opportunities. If you as a prospective student want to know of the scholarships available in 2-year program areas, check out the following UVU link: www.uvu.edu/financialaid/scholarships.

In addition, at the link below, you can read information and fill out the official FAFSA form and submit it. This can be done each year after you file your taxes, and makes you eligible for Pell Grants or subsidized loans that don’t start accruing interest until you graduate. The link is www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Turning Point includes a link to their scholarship for single parents as well as UVU’s student scholarships: www.uvu.edu/turningpoint/returning/classes.html. Their phone number is 863-7580. In addition, they sponsor the Wee Care Center on campus that provides child care while parents attend classes at UVU.

Peggy Pasin oversees the Women’s Resource Center and has information about scholarships available to victims of domestic violence through the Sunshine Foundation. To learn about qualifications, please call 863-8080.
