For more than 10 years, School of Business Internship Manager Peggy Adams-Williams has been helping business, hospitality management and legal study students find the perfect internship. With a remarkable understanding of internship planning and career preparation, Adams-Williams has assisted countless students find their ideal career. While the majority of her students have interned locally, many others have traveled to other states or countries and completed internships with national and international businesses.
Along with helping students find the perfect internship, Adams-Williams instructs a career preparation course that teaches students everything from cover letter, resume and interview skills to executive dining etiquette.
"Students who portray confidence and skill, from the first time they meet an employer, can often gain an edge over other applicants," Adams-Williams said. "It's great to hear back from students who have found those skills useful and experienced success in securing professional positions in a specific career path."
