FIRST 2012 EXECUTIVE LECTURE SERIES SPEAKER, DON WATKINS
OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University’s Woodbury School of Business will kick off the 2012 Reed and Christine Halladay Executive Lecture Series on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 12:00 p.m. in the Ragan Theater on the UVU campus. Don Watkins will present the first lecture of the year.
Watkins is the co-founder and executive chairman of Handstands Inc., an industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of auto care and technology accessories. Handstand's brands include lines of popular car air fresheners such as Refresh Your Car and Bahama & Co.
"As the entrepreneur-in-residence at the Woodbury School, Don's experience as an international corporate executive is invaluable," said Eugene Seeley, associate dean of the Woodbury School of Business. "He mentors students as they gain the skills needed to start successful businesses while applying what they've learned in the classroom."
The Woodbury School sponsors the weekly Reed and Christine Halladay Executive Lecture Series as a way to bridge the gap between the world of business and management education. The public is invited to attend all lectures.
