Academic advising is a shared learning and teaching relationship between student and advisor dedicated to student success. In partnership with the Business student, advisors are committed to meeting student needs while empowering students to become self-directed learners and decision makers. Advisors offer guidance to students enabling them to discover, plan, pursue and achieve personal, academic and professional goals.

Advisor Accountability:
- Maintain confidentiality

- Provide correct information, being prepared for appointments
- Utilize on campus resources, refer as appropriate
- Assist in decision making process, considering students’ interests, limitations, abilities, and goals
