Academic Warning Workshop

If you have been on Academic Warning before, you will need to meet with your major advisor to remove your hold.
**DUE to the COVID-19 response, most advisors are meeting with students remotely. We strongly recommend emailing your major advisor to find the best way for them to review your standing and clear your holds.**
Academic Probation Workshop

When your cumulative (total) GPA is below a 2.0 you are on Academic Probation.
To remove your hold, you need to watch the probation video, complete the digital probation
workbook, and meet with your major advisor.

Continued Probation Workshop

When your cumulative (total) GPA is below a 2.0 for a second consecutive semester,
you are on Continued Probation.
To remove your hold, you need to watch the probation video, complete the digital continued
probation workbook, and meet with an Academic Standards Counselor.
**DUE TO THE COVID-19 response, Academic Standards counselors are meeting with students
remotely, via phone or video conferencing. Please use our individual online calendars to schedule an appointment.**
Suspension Workshop

Suspension occurs when your cumulative GPA and semester GPA are below a 2.0 for the third semester. If you have been suspended, you will need to petition to return to UVU.
Petition deadlines are as follows:
- February 1 - Summer return
- March 1 - Fall return
- June 1 - Fall return (for students suspended after Spring)
- September 1 - Spring return
