You will need to create a free account in order to take these tests.

Each assessment is scheduled for a separate appointment.

The ACC offers two assessments designed to help you identify possible major and career paths. These include the following:

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI): This assessment identifies your personality type, along with the most popular job families and occupations for your preferred type. It will also give you a description of your strengths and weaknesses as they relate to occupations and interpersonal relationships. This is a very reliable report that can add immensely to your self-knowledge.

Strong Interest Inventory (SII): This interest only assessment shows your interests across six General Occupational Theme areas (REALISTIC, INVESTIGATIVE, ARTISTIC, SOCIAL, ENTERPRISING, and CONVENTIONAL). It compares your interests to individuals who are employed in different occupations. You will learn what work activities, skills and values you enjoy most. Careers are suggested based on your overall interests.

The ACC utilizes several websites for the process of career exploration. These examples include:

O Net

Occupational Outlook Handbook

Utah Futures

UVU Career Development Center

Explore Health Careers

Students will need to schedule an appointment with one of our career counselors to receive their printed results. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Each assessment is $15.00 for non-UVU students. Come prepared to pay for tests with cash, check, or card. Appointments will last approximately 1 hour for each assessment.

**For those students who are taking this as part of an SLSS class their instructor will give unique instructions on how to take these assessments and when they will receive the results.**
