House Bill 60 (1977) provides low-cost education opportunities to Utah residents age 62 and older by allowing these individuals to audit University courses. Participants pay only $20 per semester plus any specific class fees. Interested? Find out how to get started below!
First you need to be admitted to UVU. This process is simple and fast. Complete the application form by using the link to apply online.
Or you may submit the paper application. Please return it to the office of Admissions via email (admissions@uvu.edu), by mail (UVU Office of Admissions, MS 106 800 W. University Parkway Orem, UT 84058-6703) or directly to LC 408.
Once your application has been processed you will receive an acceptance email with next steps.
Once admitted, review the UVU course catalog to see what is offered, and complete the online audit registration form.
If you chose to do the paper audit form, you will be responsible to get signed approval from the course instructor(s). Return the form to the Registrar's Office via email (registration@uvu.edu) or directly to BA 113.
Senior Audit students will not be enrolled into courses until the waitlist period for degree seeking students passes.
