Campus Tours FAQs

Are visitors required to wear masks?

Face masks are recommended, for those individuals who are not vaccinated, at all state facilities, including state higher educational facilities, all tour guests are recommended to bring and wear a mask, if they are not vaccinated, during their visit to campus. Tour guides will also follow this recommendation. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been exposed to it, we kindly ask you to stay home and explore our virtual resources, which can be found on our website.

If tours are already filled, can I still get a tour?

Once a tour time has been filled, we will be unable to accommodate any other tour groups that day. If you are unable to attend an individual tour in person, we have a team of ambassadors who are available to assist you. Feel free to reach out to them through uvstart@uvu.edu or 801-863-8811.

Where do I park?

Please see your confirmation email from Eventbrite for parking instructions or click on the parking map on this site.

How long will the tour last?

Our tours last around an hour and fifteen minutes.

Is it a walking tour?

It is a walking tour, however, if anyone in your group needs Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, please do not hesitate to call and/or email.

Will we be inside for the entire duration of the tour?

You will be inside for most of the tour because our building is interconnected! However, during warm weather our tours will take one shortcut outside.

If I am unable to make it to a guided tour time, what can I do instead?

We have self-guided tours available for any day/time that works with your schedule. We will be in our office from 9am to 5pm from Monday through Friday to help answer any campus-related questions you may have.

What should I do if I cannot attend my scheduled tour?

If you can’t attend your scheduled tour, feel free to give us a call to let us know and reschedule your tour for another time that would work for you.

How much of the UVU campus will we see on the tour?

We will be visiting most of the main campus on your tour. Unfortunately, we will not be able to visit upper campus and other satellite buildings. If there is a specific building or department that you would like to visit separately, we can help you contact them to set up a separate time to visit their facilities.

Who can I bring on the tour with me?

Each prospective student can bring as many guests as they would like on the tour with them.
