Become an Event Ambassador

Events Student Ambassador Program

Utah Valley University executive event ambassadors serve as the face of UVU at key events, support philanthropic initiatives, and develop personal leadership skills. Scholarships are available to executive event ambassadors who meet the following requirements:

  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Are full-time students
  • Receive passing grades in all their classes up to 12 credits
  • Adhere to the UVU student code of conduct
  • Ambassadors must be available every Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. for weekly trainings and updates.
  •  Must attend a training retreat at the beginning of the fall semester.
  • Attendance at Commencement and Convocations are mandatory, except for those that are graduating. They are also required to attend the annual President's Scholarship Ball.
  • Three events per semester (not includeing mandatory events).
  • Must come in to the office every other week for service.
  • Ambassadors serve from May 1 through April 30.

Application opens January 1 and closes March 7, 2020.
