The Impact of Giving

A gift to Utah Valley University (UVU) is a gift that impacts the lives of students today and for a lifetime. Whether you choose to support a student scholarship, an innovative new program, or a state-of-the-art space, your contribution makes a difference at UVU.

Every gift has an impact, no matter the size. With more than 1,400 donor-funded scholarships awarded in the 2022–23 school year, every cent has the power to change a life.

Carson Thornton, a recent scholarship recipient who is starting his sophomore year in the construction management program said: "This scholarship will help so much while I am in school. I work a full-time job to earn money for college, and this will help to take stress off my shoulders and will allow me to focus more on my schoolwork and focus on succeeding. Thank you!"

Donor support powers UVU’s vision to engage, include, and achieve. Gifts to Utah Valley University help students expand their horizons and reach their potential in the classroom and beyond. Your gift has the power to change the entire trajectory of an individual and the generations that follow. Together, we are a force for the future.

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the University has worked overtime to meet the educational, financial, physical and emotional needs of our students. With the help of our alumni and friends, we have provided short-term financial grants to students who find themselves in critical need because of employment loss or other impacts of the outbreak. But the need continues to be urgent. We invite you to partner with us help our students continue to work towards their dream of an education.
