Woodbury Art Museum Kicks Off Spring BFA Student Showcase

Utah Valley University and the School of the Arts are excited to present the work of our amazing and hardworking students in the Woodbury Art Museum. Each year, a Student Art Show brings in dozens of works of art for the community to enjoy. Our Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) students will also have their work presented in the museum.

Students achieving a BFA must apply to be accepted into the program. As part of completing said program, students must submit original works which demonstrate their understanding and skills garnered during their degree program.

To extend the Student Showcase and incorporate more artwork, the exhibition will feature BFA student work, and other submitted works by students across all majors and disciplines. Works on display at the Woodbury Museum include paintings done in oil, acrylic, watercolor, as well as other various mediums including ceramic, photography, drawings, and sculpture.

The Woodbury Art Museum will have an opening reception on Thursday, March 29th from 6-9pm. This is a great opportunity to rub shoulders with our talented students, take in a plethora of diverse art, and support the work of BFA students and their peers.

Admission to the museum is free, and is located at the University Place Mall. The art show goes till April 21st. To check out museum hours and other information, visit uvu.edu/museum or call 801.863.4200.
