Wind Symphony - InclUTion

Inclusion: to take in or comprise as a part of a whole or group

This season, the wind symphony will be celebrating a spirit of inclusion, diving into works from a broad range of composers who helped to shape wind symphony music and performances. Oscar winners, Pulitzer prize winners, noted educators and performers are featured in this fall’s concert.

“From A Dark Millennium” is the final movement in a longer piece that contains an overall “mysterious and shadowy atmosphere.” It’s is a perfect way to celebrate the longer shadows and spookiness of fall, October and Halloween.

Some of these composers may not have name-brand recognition, but their music will thrill and inspire you all the same.
