Ever since I can remember, I have had a love of the peace and beauty nature provides to our busy and not so perfect lives. The instant I picked up a camera I knew that this was what I wanted to capture in my photographs.
After doing just that, I began to notice that these beautiful places were becoming apart of something else. Fields became buildings, lakes became dumps and mountains were coming down, while garbage piled up.
I now wonder about the beautiful places I have missed out on and the places that my daughter will never see; if things do not change. I do this project in hopes that we might all be a little more conscious of our surroundings and the choices we make that affect them.
