Repertory Ballet Ensemble celebrates women

This weekend, kick off Women’s History Month with a performance by UVU’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble. These fine ballerinas will be celebrating and commentating on the empowerment of women through classical and contemporary works of choreography.

Works by Jacqueline Colledge, William “Bill” Evans and UVU department faculty highlight self-discovery and the agency born of feminine expression and community. Audience members of all ages will be able to enjoy the breadth of this concert.

“This year, I am very fortunate to be a part of UVU’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble. This has given me an opportunity to obtain performing experience and realize what it’s like to be in a professional ballet company. It has also been a great opportunity to work closely with faculty members and get personalized advice on improving my technique and preparing for my future career.” - Sidney Brown
