UVU High School Honor Band Festival
We invite all high school band students to participate in the second annual UVU Honor Band for two days of rehearsals, masterclasses by UVU faculty, and a final concert including the UVU Wind Symphony. Overnight housing is available at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites for those students traveling from beyond the local area. Utah Valley University is not responsible for students when not in attendance at the festival.
The registration fee is $30 per participant and is collected via credit card when registering online for the festival.

Chair Placement Music
Please download and bring a copy of your part for chair placement auditions. These will begin at 9:00 AM on February 21. Information about audition location and check-in procedure will be sent closer to the festival date. ALL woodwind/brass players also prepare an A-flat Major scale, as many octaves as you are able to play. Slur for the ascending scale and use staccato articulation for the descending scale. Mezzo forte dynamic. ALL percussionists must prepare two of the three excerpts, your choice; not all three.
