A classic of American theatre, this play revolves around the manipulative scheming of a wily, petulant school girl and the havoc she wreaks on those she encounters. Karen Wright and Martha Dobie run a successful allgirls boarding school. When student Mary Tilford does not get her way, Mary concocts a tale which destroys the school, her classmates, and the careers, relationships and lives of the headmistresses.

Euripides' play follows the fates of the women of Troy, after their city has fallen and their husbands have been slaughtered. The grief of the women is compounded when the Greeks dole out additional deaths and take the women and their remaining family members as slaves. Playing crazy to avoid prison work detail, the manic and free spirited Randle P. McMurphy is sent to a state mental hospital for evaluation. While there, McMurphy engages with a motley crew of inmates presided over by the icy Nurse Ratched. Soon, McMurphy and Ratched acknowledge they are enemies: Ratched is an authority figure who equates sanity with correct behavior; McMurphy is a charismatic misfit who might just dismantle the system by living simply as he pleases.

Happily ever after takes on a whole new meaning, as Katrina begins a journey in search of her Prince. With her Prince held captive by an evil Troll Princess in a dreary castle east of the sun and west of the moon, Katrina enters the homes of three wise women who share hilarious stories of how they found contentment by "doing what pleases others", "doing what pleases me", or "doing nothing at all". With guidance and boost from the Four Winds, Katrina seeks to defeat the Troll Princess and rescue the Prince.
