Wolverines Elevated
Wolverines Elevated is a three-year certificate program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. The program is in its first year as a model TPSID (Transition & Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities) program, with funding from the United States Department of Education.
Who is eligible?
Individuals (age 18-25) with intellectual disabilities are welcome to apply
Program Details
- Three-year certificate program*
- Specialized coursework focusing on self-determination, independent living, and career development
- Inclusive coursework to pursue industry-recognized certificates
- Person-centered planning and individual goal setting
- Career development opportunities including job sampling and on-campus and community internships
- Full participation in student clubs and activities
*Students will earn a certificate from the Wolverines Elevated program and will have the opportunity to pursue any of the industry-recognized certificates offered at UVU.
