Utah Valley University was accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Northwest Association of Schools in 1969 and has been continuously accredited since. UVU’s College of Aviation Sciences has provided aviation education for over 25 years. The Aviation program has offered online education for over 10 years and has recently undergone a redesign of all courses. Courses were designed with the objective of preparing graduates with real-world knowledge by teams of subject matter experts and instructional designers with industry and academic experience.
At Utah Valley University, the cost for tuition and fees is among the best in the nation. The annual cost (two semesters) of tuition and fees for a local resident is $4,786 and $13,518 for non-residents. All online students pay just $5,016 for a year of full-time tuition and fees.
Many success stories have come from UVU Aviation alumni and we want to help you be the next one. The Aviation Administration emphasis prepares students for managerial careers in numerous aviation fields, including airline, airport, and corporate aviation business management, as well as administrative careers in aviation manufacturing, general aviation, and their support industries. The Aviation Professional Pilot emphasis prepares students for employment with airlines as well as private and corporate operators. UVU graduates are employed by U.S. and international airlines, cargo carriers, and corporate flight departments.
Utah Valley University is an open-admission institution. Enrollment standards exist in order to help students enroll in courses that match their academic preparation and ability. To attend UVU, simply complete four steps to be officially admitted, namely; complete an Admission Application, pay a nonrefundable $35 application fee, submit an official high school transcript, and submit an ACT/SAT official score.
Student support is incredibly beneficial and will help you complete your undergraduate program as smoothly as possible. In addition to our dedicated staff of advisors, the aviation program provides a call center to answer your questions concerning admissions, flight training, courses, graduation and anything that concerns the education you will receive here at UVU.
In addition, the university offers a support center that provides tutoring, mentoring, open labs, computer labs and scholarship information to better assist you in your college career.
