Community Resources for Families

Community Classes, Workshops, and Conferences

Kids On The Move classes are available to the general public, if there is space available. There is often a small fee included. Please see the calendar for dates and times of classes. Free child care is available, but space is limited so you must reserve a spot by calling our front desk at 801.221.9930 Ext. 100.

Help Me Grow - Did you know about the Help Me Grow Aspire Parent Group? This meeting is centered on the fact that friends, family members, neighbors, and community members can provide emotional support, help solve problems, offer parenting advice and give concrete assistance to one another. A representative from Help Me Grow always attends so parents can ask any questions they might have about their child's development. Refer any of your families to attend with their kids! Meetings are held every third Wednesday at the Utah County Health Department.

KBYU Eleven Ready To Learn® video parenting workshops help parents raise healthy children. The 12 workshops present key steps in your child's development, demonstrate how to combine media with reading, and hands-on activities to enhance your child's learning. The companion Participation Notebook has many wonderful teaching tools and simple suggestions for enriching your child's environment. Topics include music, math, emotions, and reading readiness. Learn more, watch our workshops, and download free activity guides.
