Students must be registered (enrolled in classes) to obtain a UVU student ID Card. it is a non-transferable ID card, only the cardholder may present the UVU Student ID Card for Purchases, access, and other privileges.

  • Activation of the 2016-2017 Transit Pass is currently $90.  
    • 2017-2018 Transit Pass will be available beginning August 1, 2017.

Concurrent Enrollment, High School ID Cards

Concurrent Enrollment UVU OneCard -- $10.00

Must have valid US Government-issued PHOTO ID:

  • Valid Driver's License

We do not issue ID cards to Continuing Education Students

If government issued photo ID is not available, 3 forms of ID one of which must include photo ID (ie: yearbook, birth certificate, social security card, parent's driver's license if name is on birth certificate, billing statements, bank statements, church records, Nonresident Alien Registration, Police Pistol Permit with Photo, Indian blood certificate, Court of Record documents.)

If photo ID is not available, 4 forms of ID must be provided (ie: yearbook, birth certificate, social security card, parent's driver's license if name is on birth certificate, billing statements, bank statements, church records, Nonresident Alien Registration, Police Pistol Permit with Photo, Indian blood certificate, Court of Record documents).

Aviation Nametags

There are two types of Aviation Name tagsUVU Aviation Nametag. All UVU Aviation Students are required to have an UVU Aviation Nametag. The first nametag is free, replacements are $20.To obtain the UVU Aviation Nametag:

  • Students must be currently enrolled in the UVU Aviation Program classes
  • Must have some form of US Government issued photo ID

This nametag can be used as an UVU ID Card. Lanyards can be obtained at UVU Aviation Dispatch Hard protective covers that attach to the Aviation lanyards can be purchased at Campus Connection for $2. UVU Aviation Nametags for Certified Flight Instructors and/or EmployeesAll UVU Aviation CFIs and/or Employees who fly must have a Global Aviation Science Degree Nametag. To Get the nametag,

  • The nametag is $5 for the first one, $20 for any replacement
  • Take verification of Employment and government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or UVU ID) to Campus Connection

****Do not punch holes in your nametags! You can purchase a protective hardcover at Campus Connection for $2.

Distance Ed Cards

  • No Photo on the card.
  • Must live outside a 60-mile radious of UVU Main Campus.

Faculty/Staff I.D.

There are two types of UVU ID Cards that Faculty/Staff can obtain:

  1. UVU OneCard
  2. UVU PlusCard

The UVU OneCard gives you discounts for:

  • Any food and beverage purchase in Dining Services (5% off)
  • Some items in the Bookstore (10% off on items excluding text books and electronic items)
  • Many events and activities on campus
  • Select community merchants.

The Door Access Card is your UVU OneCard/UVU PlusCard. It's has an added function of door access for specific buildings and/or rooms on campus. The only way to obtain this function is through VP and/or departmental approval. The card is $5 for the first card (usually paid for by the department), $15 for any replacements. The following items must be provided in order to obtain any UV ID Card:

  1. Verification of employment
  2. Government issued photo identification (passport, drivers license, state ID card, etc.)

Door Access (Proximity)

If the department is purchasing an ID Card for the employee, click on ID Card Request Form (pdf) to download the fillable PDF version of the form or the form is available at Campus Connection. Present your completedID Card Request Form (pdf) to Campus Connection to have a new UVU OneCard/UVU PlusCard made and programmed. ** Departments must send the completed ID Card Request Form (pdf) with the Faculty/Staff member if the department is paying for the card or the employee is not yet in the system. ** If the employee already has a UVU ID card, then the employee should already have an ID, the employee need only present their card to Campus Connection for programming.

Once your card is programmed, the following process must be completed in order to activate the card for access to specific doors:

  • Inside Door Access: To activate your UVU OneCard/UVU PlusCard for access to an inside door, email the information listed below to your Department Chair/Director/VP.
    The Department Chair/Director/VP will then forward the email to Melisa Zobell at zobellme@uvu.edu authorizing or denying access.
  • Outside Door Access: To activate access for an outside door, the Department Chair/Director/VP will email the information listed below to Val Peterson, Vice President of Administration and External Affairs. Val Peterson will then forward the email to Melisa Zobell at zobellme@uvu.edu authorizing or denying access.

**NOTE: IF YOUR CARD IS LOST, BROKEN, OR MELTED, THERE WILL BE A $15.00 REPLACEMENT FEE

Information Needed for Activation of Proximity OneCards:

  1. Full Name
  2. Title
  3. Department you work in
  4. Telephone extension
  5. UV ID #
  6. Romms #(s) that you are requesting access to, if applicable
  7. Buildings(s) that you are requesting outside door access, if applicable
  8. Reason for need to access outside door.

GreenBucks

GreenBucks is an optional, declining-balance account that may be used for on-campus purchases only. This is available on both the UVU PlusCard and UVU OneCard. These funds carry over from semester to semester and year to year so long as the account remains active. To begin your UVU GreenBucks account contact Campus Connection at (801) 863-8797. To make a deposit in your green bucks account please log in online
