Japanese Language, Certificate of Proficiency

Requirements

The Japanese Language-Certificate of Proficiency focuses on language development and culture. This program provides students an opportunity to prove their proficiency in the Japanese language and use their cultural abilities in their careers. Upon successful completion of this certificate students will be proficient in Japanese at an intermediate level.

Graduation Requirements:
A minimum grade of "C" must be earned in all required courses.
  1. Completion of a minimum of 18 semester credits.
  2. Minimum grade of C required in all courses.
  3. Overall grade point average of 2.0 (C) or above.
  4. Residency hours--minimum of 6 credit hours through course attendance at UVU.
