Hospitality Management, Certificate of Proficiency

The Institutional Certificate of Proficiency in Hospitality Management is available for all UVUstudents with a particular focus designed to provide high school students an opportunity to obtain acertificate of proficiency with a focus on career and technical education while still enrolled in highschool. This certificate will also be available from the University for college students/adults lookingfor entry-level skills leading to further academic advancement. This certificate is designed to stackinto certificate and associate degrees at UVU. Students learn about a wide range of hospitality andtourism areas such as: hotel, resort, and motel management; event planning; restaurant andinstitutional food service; and a number of other areas such as cruise ship management,amusement park management, convention and visitor facilities, and gaming facilities.
