Welcome to the Engineering & Technology Week VR Experience page.
Launch Web VersionSince we are unable to have the Engineering and Technology Event on campus due to COVID restrictions, a virtual experience was created to allow students an opportunity to learn about the various programs offered at UVU in a unique way. While the experience does not include every department within the College of Engineering & Technology in this version, it does provide a wonderful starting point to learn about the many wonderful opportunities available.
There are three ways to access the CET 360° VR Experience:
Schools who participated in the approved project competition were offered Oculus Quest 2 headsets as loaners to get the best possible VR experience. Instructors have already been matched with a headset and drop-off date with technical assistance.
For detailed instructions on how to use a Quest 2 headset, refer to the Quick Start instructions below or the downloadable Introduction Guide to VR for Teachers for detailed materials.

There are several different ways to cast your device to another screen i.e., television, tablet, or large computer screen. To cast to a specific specific device, make sure the device and headset are on the same WiFi network.
NOTE: Depending on the network, some artifacting in the image may occur due to slow data streams.
