Professor James Fisher

On and off for more than 45 years Jim Fisher has worked as a dance reviewer, publisher, reporter, photojournalist and editor. He has coached and refereed soccer, skydived, instructed SCUBA and competed in pistol shooting. He is an avid flyfisher. Enthusiastic, passionate, ardent.

Visual communication; photojournalism and graphic management; editing; effective writing; news values and social construction; documentary studies; new media practices and new product development; mass communication history; cross-cultural journalism; media coverage of Indian and tribal affairs.
