Farah Sanders serves as public relations and speech communication faculty in the Department of Communication at Utah Valley University. Her research includes work on communication instruction with technology, public relations as it relates to interpersonal communication and strategic communication planning, and teaching to multiple learning styles in the communication classroom.
She has received both national and international awards for her advisement of public relations campaign development and execution including the Utah PRSA Golden Spike Award for non-profit campaign execution, and Platinum Hermes Creative Award for public relations campaign and pro-bono work. Sanders graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication analytics and history from Utah Valley University.
She received her Masters in Education, emphasizing in communication instruction from Southern Utah University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in communication education, emphasizing in interpersonal communication and public relations from Walden University.
