Utah Werks

UVU partners with Utah WERKS to receive funding from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) under the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grants program. The purpose of the grant is to expand and improve our ability to deliver education and career training programs that can be completed in two years or less for workers who have lost their jobs or are threatened with job loss as a result of foreign trade.

Please note: these programs are open to everyone, whether you have lost your job or not! Students in these programs receive modified and/or accelerated training to help put them into high-skill/high-wage jobs.

If you have lost your job due to foreign trade, you may be TAA-Eligible. Contact the Department of Workforce Services to find out about your eligibility and the training benefits to which you may be entitled.
