About Us

The Office of IT Asset Management (ITAM) provides essential tools that allows the University and departments to better understand its IT needs, helps departments to keep track of and manage their IT assets, and provides the information needed to assess risks and prevent security breaches.

Computer Shop

UVU has established procedures and standards for the purchase of desktop and laptop computers. Employees who need to purchase a computer or other IT hardware will need to place an order through the Computer Shop on the Wolverine Marketplace. Through this online ordering system, departments and employees can order complete systems and a variety of accessories and peripherals.

Warranty

All campus computers should have a warranty. Computer hardware support and repairs should be coordinated through your Area Technician. Warranty terms, conditions, and coverage varies from vendor to vendor.

Software

UVU employees have access to a variety of free and discounted software. The software page is designed to be a one-stop reference for finding the software available to you.

Inventory Control

In order to ensure the security and accuracy of IT inventory being maintained and reported, the Office of IT Asset Management sends out inventory control specialists to verify the computers, tablets, and laptops purchased by UVU.
