Password Reset/Recovery Instructions
- To reset your password, click here or to go to https://my.uvu.edu/.
- Click Forgot Password.
- The next page will ask for you UVID. Once you type that in, click next.
- The next page will either prompt you for a code or tell you to contact the UVU Service
Desk.[Password Failure] If you were prompted for a code and did not receive one via email or text. You need to contact the UVU Service Desk to get help resetting
your password. You will find their information below.
- You will be prompted for a code if you have setup recovery options for your UVU account. The code will be sent to either your
phone number or email for verification. Once you enter the code, you will be able
to create a new password.
- You won’t be prompted for a code if you have NOT setup recovery options for your UVU account. In this case, you need to contact the
UVU Service Desk to reset your password. You will find their information below.
Note: For password assistance, you will need to provide verification. Be prepared to provide
a UVID number, full name, birthday, an address or telephone number that UVU would
have on file, and a non-UVU email address that would be on file for you.

Password Recovery Setup
- To add or change recovery options for your UVU account, please go to https://cas.uvu.edu/epic/.
- Log in using your UVID and password.
- You will have the option to add or change an email address and telephone number to
which a recovery code can be sent if you forget your password in the future.
- If you are having trouble while setting up the recovery options. Contact the UVU service
desk for a quick solution.
