|title:||Data & Prospect Research Analyst|
Dan Jackson comes to UVU after several years working in the private sector as an estimator and a project manager for a commercial landscape contractor. He also managed collections, inventory, and scheduling for a supply company. Dan attended Utah Valley University, where he studied history with an emphasis on American Indian studies. He graduated with a B. A. in 2010. Having cultivated his research and data analysis expertise in both for-profit and academic arenas, Dan now applies these skills to the field of prospect research for the UVU Foundation. He also serves on the chapter presidency for the Association of Prospect Researchers in Advancement (APRA-UT).
Dan and his wife, Lorraine, share a quaint pioneer home in Lehi with a mangy, but good-tempered dog, and a neurotic cat. He enjoys music, hiking, and learning and observing history.
