Our Mission

The BS in Digital Audio allows students to study, without distraction, the physics and mathematics of audio engineering, basic audio-related electronics, recording tools and techniques, mixing tools and techniques, mastering tools and techniques, radio production, room acoustics and design, production sound for film and television, post-production sound, audio restoration (archival, historical, and forensic), and the business and marketing practices of the audio industry.

Digital Audio Production Degrees

Students may earn a Bachelors of Science in Digital Audio Production or an Associate of Applied Science.

Digital Audio Production

Modern digital audio is a highly creative and very technical field that requires employees to be well prepared in a wide variety of subjects, software, and hardware to be successful. It is also an incredibly competitive field with potential employees from around the world vying for the same jobs. We have created this program to ensure that our students can not only compete in this industry but excel in it.

The Digital Audio Production (DAPR) program will give students a powerful base in the technical aspects of sound that every professional needs. Then the program expands to give you a deeper understanding of some of the most exciting areas of the industry. Our students can learn about music production, video game sound, film sound design, audio hardware engineering, audio software engineering, audio restoration and many other subjects in the field. The DAPR program has everything a student needs to succeed in the audio industry.
