Noyce Scholarship Information

The scholarship is for up to $10,000 per year for each of the junior and senior years for majors in earth science education. Applicants must be admitted into the School of Education Licensure Program and they must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. For each year that the scholarship is awarded the recipients are required to teach for two years in secondary schools in a district that has Title I schools.  All Wasatch Front school districts meet this requirement. If the teaching requirement is not met, the scholarship becomes a loan that must be repaid to UVU. Successful applicants are required to sign a promissory note agreeing to the teaching requirement before the scholarship money can be awarded.
