New Education Facilities

As part of the School of Education's partnership with other colleges and schools at UVU, new academic and community-based programs to support families and individuals who are engaged with Autism Spectrum Disorders are under development. Part of this process has been the proposed design for additional facilities attached to the SOE that would help provide community members and school professionals, including pre-service and practicing classroom teachers, with access to information that will help them better support students on the spectrum in their classrooms.

In addition to this initiative, remodeling is underway for the McKay Education Building to add live-interactive facilities to existing classrooms. This addition wills support efforts to offer pre-service classes and professional development opportunities to more remote areas of Utah and to our international partner sites.
