A Thanksgiving Feast

At thanksgiving time a book feast was held in this classroom. Armed with a reading journal, children went from “taster” table to “taster” table sampling all the delicious books. Each table displayed a collection of several books within the same genre. Students were able to sample the books and write down their impressions of the books in their journal in terms of interest, appeal, and possible next reads.
