Bachelor of Science in Special Education

The major in Special Education will prepare undergraduate students for a Utah Teaching Certificate in K-12 Special Education in mild/moderate disabilities. The bachelor's degree program covers general education courses in addition to special education coursework over four years (122 credits). The core special education courses concentrate on the knowledge and skills needed for the education of students with disabilities. Through required electives, students may choose to specialize in concentration areas such as in Autism Studies.
