Program Details

In recent years, public interest in civics has increased dramatically. The study of civics is multidisciplinary, not just limited to political science, and understanding civic engagement is crucial for all citizens. This course will blend Oxford-style classroom instruction, individual student research, and a group problem solving project as it focuses on the rights and responsibilities of the citizen, constructive civic engagement, and the history of the academic disciplines underlying the study of civics (philosophy, history, economics, political science, etc.).
