Boost your career credentials while studying in beautiful Scotland! Students have the unique opportunity to deeply dive into the local culture while expanding their business skills through a hands-on consulting engagement with a significant Scottish company. Past projects have included: Walkers (the famous international shortbread company, WOW Scotland (tourism), Robertstons (an almost 1 billion per year property company) and Cairngorm Brewery. Planned business engagment for 2023 includes the world famous Gleneagles Hotel, host to the 2014 Ryder Cup and the Soldheim Cup in 2019.
You will be based in Perth, Scotland (the original Perth city!), Scotland's ancient capital, also knows as the 'Fair City', where the kings and queens of Scotland were crowned at Scone Palace, including Robert the Bruce. This small city is based on the banks of the River Tay in the east of Scotland and located only an hour from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
There are countless options for things to do in Perth, from live music, outdoor adventure, walking, rock climbing, white water rafting, to theatre, museums, galleries and art exhibitions.
Imagine having a letter of reference from the head of an international company on your resume. Imagine visiting the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. Imagine working with students from two partner universities. Imagine enjoying historic Edinburgh. Imagine eating haggis. (Ok, don't imagine that.) Then stop imagining and join Dean Capener for business consulting in Scotland!
