You can sign up at Club Rush held at the beginning of each semester, at the ELL Office in LA 209, or online in the form below.

Our Three-Fold Mission

Frequently Asked Questions

What's in it for me?

This is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world! You can learn about different cultures while receiving the satisfaction of helping others! You can request a Certificate or a Letter of Participation after your service is complete.

Can I learn a second language?

Volunteers can request being paired with a partner who speaks a specific language. While it is not always possible to match every language, we do our best. Also, it is important that the ESL student gets to practice english for an hour first, as it is part of their curriculum.

What do I do with my partner?

Just talk! This club is an opportunity for our students to practice conversational English since many speak their native tongue at home. Helping them with their assignments is also a beneficial activity.
