Undergraduate Research Summer Institute Grant (URSIG)

Undergraduate Research Summer Institute Grants (URSIG) is a new undergraduate research program at UVU. The purpose of this grant is to make progress on a significant research project relevant to the faculty and the region that will be done in a team of a faculty and students. Student-faculty teams collaborate to conduct in-depth research or creative work related to their chosen field of study during the summer. A limited number of projects (4-5) will be funded for summer 2020 in amounts from $5,000 to $15,000.

Funds will be awarded based on a competitive basis for work between May 9th and August 10th, 2020. Funds awarded in April will be available within three weeks of the submission deadline and must be used by the end of August 2020. The application must be based on collaboration and team effort, and the applicant must be full-time faculty.
