UVU Excelerate isn’t just another classroom; it’s an experience. This is an innovative, project-based summer bridge program for incoming freshman and sophomore UVU students. In collaboration with faculty and industry partners, these projects are exciting, fun, and inspiring!

How does it work? 

Students who participate will earn  credits toward your degree for completing a project-based course. Don’t just sit in a classroom; get involved and get engaged with real-world, hands-on experience. Choose from one of our available projects in collaboration with industry partners.

Why should I participate?

UVU Excelerate projects are designed to help you discover your talents while honing in on your interests and aptitudes. This is an exciting opportunity for you to build connections on campus and open the door to future opportunities at UVU and with potential employers.  

 

    • Receive additional support from peer mentors. 
    • Earn credits in required courses.
    • Gain career connections. 
    • Create campus connections through activities and collaborations. 
    • Find the right fit for you with flexible schedules.
    • Enjoy a smaller class size (less then 20 students).
    • Students attend the “Why It Matters” UN conference at UVU in October
