The mission of the engineering department at Utah Valley University (UVU) is to provide
a strong engineering foundation with a hands-on component to prepare professionally
competent engineers of integrity who serve the engineering needs of the region and
the globally interdependent community. The B.S. in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs use the ABET's Student
Outcomes 1 through 7.
