Launch and Accelerate is UVU's summer accelerator program for students and alumni who want to get their businesses up and running over the summer.

Launch & Accelerate will take place from May 15, 2019 to August 8, 2019 with a final pitch event on August 8, 2019. Classes will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 9-Noon, including instruction, workshops, and one-on-one consultations with instructor Ralph Little and others. Everyone admitted to the program will have access to the free student incubator space in the Business Resource Center (BRC) located just south of UVU behind the Hampton Inn. Free parking will be provided at the BRC.


The summer accelerator fee for all students will be $250. Current students will also be able to apply for up to 3 internship credits for the usual UVU tuition fees.

About the Instructor

Ralph Little started his business while a student at the University of Utah. Using the same principles he will teach in this class, his company grew into a national company, employing over 3,000 employees and being named to the INC 500 list for an unprecedented 4 consecutive years.  At age 45 he retired and began teaching at the university level. He attended Harvard Business School specializing in small business management.

His classes are regularly regarded by students as being ‘life changing,’ and the best college course ever taken in their 4 years at their university.

He has been sought after by government agencies and private industries as an expert in the field of small business creation and management.
