About Kendall & Joe

joe wilsonJoe Wilson is a serial entrepreneur in the mobile software industry, having designed and shipped over 150 apps to millions of users. He is currently the Head of Product at Cake Browser, working to make easier and more delightful to search & browse the mobile web. Previously, Joe co-founded Studio Design, Garafa Geospatial Apps, and Sand Mountain Studios, each with an impressive portfolio of Top 25 apps. 

Joe lives in Provo with his wife Grace and their two sons. He enjoys supporting local art and is an active member of the downtown Provo community. He is also a board member of Introducing Tomorrow, an organization that hosts events to introduce young people to exciting careers in science and technology.

Prior to joining Cake, Kendall served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Ancestry. Over the years, Kendall led the creation of Ancestry’s mobile app, co-created Ancestry’s iconic “shaky leaf” hint system and family tree product, as well as rolled out key features of the AncestryDNA product. Prior to joining Ancestry, he started a software company with a friend when he was 14, and then worked in product marketing at Monster.com during and after college. Kendall holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Kendall lives in Provo with his wife, Carolina, and their three kids. They love to travel and learn about new places and cultures—Kendall and Carolina made a pact when they first got married that they’d travel to at least one new country every year, so the list of places they’ve been is constantly expanding!
