2018 Student Ethics Symposium

2018 Student Ethics Symposium

Tuesday, April 17th

The purpose of this forum is to promote critical and academic inquiry related to ethical issues of all disciplines. The forum embraces the chief goal of the UVU Center for the Study of Ethics: “to promote the Jeffersonian ideal of an educated citizenry by bringing diverse voices together in thoughtful and productive dialogue.” Students of all majors are invited to submit topics. Topics may address any dimension of ethical inquiry, both historical and contemporary. Selection to present will be based upon topic quality and innovation, as well as excellence in reasoning and research.

Call for Papers

Proposals should include an abstract of 300-500 words, a short bio (educational background, goals, research interests), and an indication of type format (individual, panel or lightening round).

Please send your submission to Courtney Burns at courtney.burns@uvu.edu by March, 30th.
