What Students Learn

Students of this program are prepared to successfully pass the State Exam to become a licensed Commercial Building Inspector. Within the curriculum, students learn to review plans to meet building codes, local ordinances, zoning regulations, and contract and safety specifications with city, state, and federal offices. Students learn how to thoroughly inspect every stage of building system elements throughout construction while enforcing all city, state, and federal mandates.

Upon successful completion of these courses, students are prepared to take the ICC Commercial Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Inspector exams.
