WUE
The Western undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is for students who are residents of specific western states.

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is for students who are residents of specific western states. Time spent in Utah, while receiving a WUE, does not count towards establishing residency for tuition purposes.
Fall Deadline: July 1st
Spring Deadline: December 1st
Eligibility
- Must be a legal resident of one of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam
- Must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA to apply
- Must enroll and earn 15 credit hours each semester
- Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must be enrolled in an eligible WUE degree program. Non-eligible degree programs: Global Aviation, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, High School Concurrent Enrollment, Integrated Studies, Personal Interest, and English Language Learning (ELL)
- Must upload a copy of a valid driver's license from the state of residency when applying

Award
Students pays the following:
- 150% of the resident tuition
- Student Fees
- Course Fees
Private
Large corporations, small businesses, families, and individuals donate through the Make A Gift program to allow students the chance to qualify for privately funded scholarship awards.

Eligibility
- Each Private scholarship will have different eligibility requirements. These requirements may be viewed in AcademicWorks.
- Need-Based scholarships require the completion of a FAFSA.
- Academic scholarships are scored based on your GPA and credit hours completed at UVU.
- 3.0 GPA Minimum is Required
- Cannot have a previous Bachelor's degree
