The Resident Transfer Academic Merit Scholarships will be selected from students transferring
to UVU who meet the academic criteria and are pursuing their first bachelors degree.
Transfer Students will not be considered for Presidential or Exemplary Scholarships.
If you have less than 24 credit hours completed, you need to have your high school
transcript and ACT/SAT scores submitted by the March 1st deadline.
2023-2024 Deadline: March 1, 2023
For all Transfer Academic Merit Scholarships:
The unweighted GPA is used.
The GPA is not rounded.
The total of credit hours required must be transfer credit hours, not to be combined
with credit hours earned at Utah Valley University.
Transfer Academic Merit for Students Transferring Between 12-23 Transfer Credits:
Students transferring in 12-23 credits will be considered for the Distinguished Academic
Merit Scholarship if the following applies:
The student's High School and Transfer GPA is 3.5 or greater.
The ACT score is 24 or greater, or their SAT score is 1180 or greater.
